Sorry for the lack of updates over the last few months, between all the Autox, Drifting, Car Shows and just the weekly monday night meets I’ve had a hard time just sitting down at a computer to update the site.
Here at Kelowna Car Life we would love to welcome Halfast Motorsports started by our own member Calle.

Okanagan Truck Performance Dyno Day

One of the guys from Okanagan Truck Performance just posted up some info on there 2nd annual dyno day on the forums.
It will be from 10am to 4pm Saturday May 9th.
“Dyno runs will be first come first on the rollers, just a $25 donation to the Canadian Cancer Foundation.”
They will be having a BBQ as well so bring some extra change with net proceeds going towards the Canadian Cancer Foundation.
2009 KCL Spring Cruise Photos

Wow! THANK YOU EVERY ONE who came out today! The turn out was so much better then any one could have expected.
Thanks to barb and dave hood for the help planning this years spring cruise, all went as planned.
I think the official count was 49 cars and 1 bike (last year he had maybe 12 cars?).
We will start planning on the 1st KCL Summer Cruise soon and let you all know more info when we figure it out.

Cell Block D15 Photos

So Dave Hood, Shawn Browne and I went down to Agassiz BC on the 22nd for the 1st drift event of the season. Gavin and Devin went down the night before and also Benson was there too.
This was Gavin’s 1st time on a track and he did pretty good.
Benson took some photos which turned out pretty damn good so here are a few of them.
This RX7 was pretty sick and a lot of rotor lovers wont like it, because under the hood lives a twin turbo 1JZ, sick.

2009 KCL Spring Cruise

DATE: Sunday April 5th, 2009 KCL Spring Meet
TIME: 10:00 am – - Leave meeting spot approx 10:30-10:45am
MEETING LOCATION: The Okangan Wash Zone – 150 Edwards Rd, Kelowna.
Cruise to Vernon, Salmon River Rd, Corkscrew Rd and make our way to Salmon Arm…Boston Pizza for lunch (or drinks for the passengers), and then make our way back to Kelowna…

Every one is welcome to come from all the other local car forums, no need to sign up or anything just show up at the meeting spot on time.
There will be no tolerance of any asshatery or speeding.
CellBlock D 15 Drift Event

The 1st CellBlock D event of the year is coming up on March 22!
By the sounds of it there should be around 4-6 drivers from the Okanagan heading out to Agassiz race track to compeat.
